Upozorňujeme studenty na možnost účasti na konferenci „Skanderbeg in the history and culture of Europe “ v Poznani (Polsko) – jedná se o mezinárodní setkání k 610 výročí narození této významné osobnosti albánské historie a kultury. 

Jazyky konference jsou: albánština, polština, ostatní slovanské jakzyky a angličtina.

Organizátoři navrhují následující okruhy témat:

1. The translation of Barletius work: De via, moribus ac rebus praipue adversus Turcas gestis Georgii Castrioti, clarissimi Epirotarum principis into European languages

2. Polish translation of Cyprian Bazylik – translatological and linguistic issues

3. Skanderbeg and his actual role in the history of fifteenth-century Europe.

4. Skanderbeg in the historiography of Europe

5. Skanderbeg as a hero of literature and folklore, mythical and legendary reception

6. Skanderbeg in the Albanian national mythology

7. Skanderbeg in film, opera and art (painting, sculpture, monuments)

8. Skanderbeg in intercultural and interreligious dialogue

9. Skanderbeg as a memory figure (sanctification of the canonization) and non-memory figure (concealment, denial and marginalization)

10. Skanderbeg as a symbolic, ideological, imagological construct

11. Skanderbeg in terms of canonical and non-canonical
